Five Things I’m Thankful for this Year

  • Post category:Lifestyle

This time of year always reminds me that I have not taken enough time to reflect on the things I’m thankful for. Especially when it comes to living green, there are so much in my personal journey that I am grateful for.

Here are just some of the things I’m grateful for this year:

  1. Being with a partner who is also enthusiastic about living green and supports my online pursuit to share the movement
  2. My ability to pursue jobs in environmental fields that I’m passionate about
  3. Living in an area that has a subscription composting program (and uses the compost for local farming!)
  4. The time I have to dedicate to this blog
  5. Being in a place of financial comfort that allows me to explore various green living options

I recognize what a privilege it is for me to be able to experience my green journey the way that I do. Not everyone enters this journey with the same opportunities or under the same circumstances. Something I will be striving for in my green journey is helping to make green lifestyles more accessible to a wider group of people (whether through education, charity, volunteer work, etc.)
